Wounded Warrior

The Air Force Sergeant’s Association, Chapter 1075 is in need of 20 volunteers to help with the Wounded Warrior Lunch on 18 Mar 2017 at Ft Sam. The Wounded Warrior Lunch is a meal prepared for members who are hospitalized at SMMC and/or their families that are staying at the Fisher house. These are warriors of all services.

Location: Warrior Family Support Center, Fort Sam Houston

1045-1400 (Morning) -10 Volunteers Needed to set up/prep food

1345-1700 (Evening) – 10 Volunteers Needed serve/clean up

All volunteers must bring your own apron if possible; hair nets or hats are required; long hair must be tied up in a ponytail; no children allowed in the kitchen (recommend not to bring children below the age of 12). We also ask that you wear an AFSA shirt if you have one.

 

Additionally, we need of donations of side items and dessert, i.e. canned veggies, mac&cheese, potato salad, macaroni salad, cookies, etc. The theme for this dinner is a St. Patrick’s Day Fish Fry with sides and dessert. We normally feed between 250-350 people.
